The Avengers

     Summer blockbuster season is rapidly approaching, and that means big-budget, fun, mostly mindless movies. Eye candy! Popcorn flicks! In the mix this year is one of my most anticipated movies:

     I've been looking forward to this movie since the bonus scene after the credits of the first Iron Man, back before any of the other characters had gotten their respective movies. But I knew if this was pulled off in the right way, it would be epic. It's not often that so many starring roles are thrown together into one movie. And with Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly/Serenity, etc.) in the director's chair, it will be hard for this movie to go wrong.
